Peter and I are paragliding somewhere over the city of Interlaken.
Peter recently placed 5th in World Cup Paragliding competition.

 

  

Here the lads are putting me in the paraglider harness.




The paraglider fills with air.

Ahhhh, paragliding in the Swiss Alps!
That's Stepfan, my pilot from Alpine Center in Interlaken.
He holds a world record for staying aloft for 8 hours and traveling 197 kilometers.

 

This picture was taken seconds after take-off. Way in the background you can almost see the
Eiger, which you may remember from the movie "The Eiger Sanction", starring Clint Eastwood.

The lakes and rivers here in Interlaken are all fed by glaciers.

 

This looks like a good place to relax.
